Arkansas Highway 60

Arkansas Highway 60 (AR 60) is a state highway consisting of five distinct segments across Arkansas. The most prominent and longest segment stretches approximately 54 miles from Highway 28 in Plainview eastward to U.S. Route 65B in Conway. This primary east-west corridor traverses the Ouachita Mountains and the Arkansas River Valley, connecting communities such as Nimrod, Aplin, Perryville, Houston, and Conway. Along this route, travelers experience a mix of mountainous terrain, river crossings, and rural landscapes.

In addition to the main segment, AR 60 includes four shorter sections:

Logan County Segment: Approximately 2.64 miles, running east from the Sebastian County line to Highway 10 west of Booneville.

Sebastian/Franklin Counties Segment: About 8.5 miles, extending east from Highway 217 to Highway 41 at Peter Pender.

Crawford County Segments: Two separate stretches; one runs 2.34 miles north from Highway 282 at Rudy to County Road 23, and another spans 1.9 miles from U.S. 64 over Interstate 40 to Highway 282.
